Meet Ciara


I’m Ciara, the person behind Wee Care Packages. Let me tell you how this journey started. I was a quite happy, carefree Donegal gal and In 2019, I faced a brain tumor, had surgery to remove 95% of it, but it came back a few months later. Undeterred, I confronted it with courage and optimism, undergoing six weeks of radiotherapy in April 2020, followed by nine months of chemotherapy. During my own cancer journey, I received a lot of support from friends, family, and even the postman. That’s when the idea for Wee Care Packages hit me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ciara at the Christmas fair today. (Who's the loveliest person btw). She makes care packages for people going through cancer treatment and Wee Care packages for people who need a little 'pick me up'. I think that this is a beautiful idea, and could be just a thing your loved one needs if they're facing hardship or sickness.
